Santa Claus is Coming To Town

This past Saturday we had our ward party. It was the Polar Express theme and we all got to go in our jammies!! The boys were so excited that Santa was going to come and they could tell him what they want for Christmas! Both of the boys had been saying over and over...Porter, I want Optimus Prime and a dog. Mason, I want a fast car. So when their turns came they were not scared at all! They both just walked right up to him sat down and smiled for the picture! Afterward we asked them did you tell Santa what you wanted and both of them frowned and said no. Porter was very concerned that he wouldn't get what he wanted. I tried to tell him we will write him a letter but that was not good enough! So we waited until the last child sat on Santa's knee and went for our second turn. Mason told him he wanted a fast car, check Santa's elves already have it wrapped! Porter gets up there and says I want Ironman!! What!! Santa's elves already have Optimus Prime wrapped and ready for Christmas!! Ironman!! Where did that come from?!? We are hoping that his want for Optimus Prime will return in the next 10 days!

A few days ago we went and enjoyed the temple lights. I just love the temple lights they are so beautiful and the boys loved them too! It was so cold outside it was perfect! As we walked past the huge nativity scene I overheard a lady explaining the whole story of Jesus's birth to an Asian woman. The woman was just looking at the manger scene in awe! I was amazed that someone had never heard the story of Jesus's birth before! As we walked away I leaned over and told Matt and he said isn't it amazing that there is a whole culture who does not know about our Savior! It made me even more grateful for the gospel in my life. I love this time of year where we can remember and celebrate the birth of our Savior and share it with others. It's beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas!

Cookies, Bumps, and Paint!

Several girls in my ward and myself do a joy school with our kids. This week was my week to have it at my house and I decided we would make Christmas cookies for our treat! Plus I just really wanted to eat sugar cookies with lots and lots of frosting!! The left over dough the boys and I made into cookies and decorated! I couldn't get a picture of the boys finished products because they went straight into their mouths and then they were tired of decorating. I was left with the rest because Matt was snoozing on the couch but he sure did enjoy eating the beautifully finished frosted cookies!(SO DID I!!)

Well here it is!! My half way there bump! Well actually I am over the half way mark WOO WOO!! 17 weeks to go!! I get to count to 39 weeks because I have to have cesareans. Matt was trying to make me laugh in this picture because he wanted a real smile and I was trying not to laugh! So if I look a little uncomfortable that is why! Our number one name for this little girl right now is Tatum Roshelle! If anyone calls her Tator or Tator Tot you will be beaten!! Especially when she is older and she has two older brothers who will fight for and defend her!!

Before

During

After

We finally got paint on our walls!! Well the living room walls at least! One room down 7 more to go!! I wanted the living room painted before we put our Christmas tree up. So Matt, I and the boys went to work! Yes the boys put in their time! Actually after the millionth time of asking if they could help we gave in!! They felt so big and helpful! It was fun to make it a whole family affair! I helped too I just wasn't caught on camera! I will get a real final picture when I get stuff up on the walls! I'm still undecided with what I want to do with this room but with the paint up it already feels more warm and homey!

Loving My Coupon Sense!

About 4 months ago I started this little money saving extravaganza called Coupon Sense! Matt and I are always trying to find a way to save money and BOY HOWDY have we with this!! What I love is that it is not just food! It is soaps, toothpaste, hair products, EVERYTHING!! Slowly I am gaining my own little store in my linen closet!! It is perfect for your year supply because you get stuff for FREE!!! Oh yes FREE!! I know a lot of you do this or have heard about it and at first I was like,"I don't want to go to 4 different stores just to save a couple bucks!" Boy was I wrong! All of this food on my counter right here would have cost me $186.41 but I paid $44.32!! I saved $142.09!!! Are Ya Kidding Me!! Lets go over what I bought! Shall we!
6 bags of cookie mix
2 lbs of apples
3 lbs of oranges
8 boxes of cereal
7 boxes of pasta noodles
2 orange juice
2 bags of flour
1 tub of butter
3 jars of peanut butter
2 toothpaste
3 steamer veggie bags
2 loaves of bread
3 boxes of gogurts
4 air freshners
6 boxes of potatoes
2 boxes fruit snacks
2 gallons of milk
10 cans of veggies
That's 68 items for less than $50!! That's because the 6 boxes of potatoes and the 3 veggie steamers were FREE!! I have kept track of my spending's and savings with coupon sense and in the 4 months I have used it, with all the items I have bought, I would have spent close to $1000 but I have spent under $400!! I would have spent $400 for 2 months of food without this nifty little money saver!! Sorry I'm not bragging I'm just super excited about saving money!!

Drum Roll Please.......

So today was our BIG reveal day and this stubborn little baby was moving all over the place but nicely keeping its knees locked together!! So we did the whole ultrasound, getting measurements, and all that good stuff and the baby would not move its legs apart!! I was coughing and the nurse was moving it around with the wand and we got NO cooperation!! We took the boys with us and they were getting pretty bored at this point and antsy! So then, some how, Porter hurts himself on a metal piece on the table I was on. I sat up to see if he was okay and when I laid back down the nurse put the wand back on and there SHE was in all HER glory!! Our little BABY GIRL!!! Both Matt and I were in a state of shock for a while! We were prepared to see another little piece and do the boy thing all over again, but NOW we get to do pink and lace and flowers and bows!! Matt is still in some sort of shock, but I'm already decorating her room in my head!! While Matt is preparing how he is going to keep his little girl locked up til she is 21:) She already has him wrapped around her finger!! I love it! So whoever voted girl you voted right!!

Haircuts, Halloween, and A Wedding

My friend Brittney came down from Idaho for a quick trip with her sisters and we got to hang out and get hair cuts!! Matt or I usually cut the boys hair but the boys were so excited to have Brittney cut their hair!! Plus she has a way cooler cape than I do!! It was so fun to see her!!

My sweet little niece Reagan! She was the cutest bumble bee EVER!! She is the little cutie that has warmed Matt's heart up to possibly having a little girl!! She loves her Uncle Mack!

For Halloween the boys were SO spoiled! The first couple pics are at my parents Trunk or Treat that we crashed because Matt had to work for our wards Trunk or Treat. Then the next night the boys and I got to hang out with my brother and his wife at our Trunk or Treat, and that is their cute little bumble bee! We barely went to a few cars and the boys were so over getting candy from the night before that they just wanted to help me pass it out!! They must not have my sweet tooth!! Crazy boys! Then Halloween night we went and visited my Grandma and Aunt Phyllis and got some more goodies!! Matt even got fed! I love my grandma and aunt every time we visit they love to feed us!! After that visit we headed over to Matt's parents house where more candy was passed out and the boys passed out with Grandpa in his big comfy chair! Happy Halloween!!

My Mr. GQ! What a Hottie;)

A few years ago my sweet Aunt Kay passed away. It was not a loss we were prepared for and she has been truly missed. It is such a wonderful blessing to know that we will see her again. She was the love of my Uncles life and they were inseparable. There was never one of them without the other. And now he has shown us all that it is possible to love again. He met a wonderful woman who is making him so very happy and that makes us all happy for them both! I just noticed that we did not even get a picture with them! We were busy chasing the boys around the Wright House and they had many loved ones there to wish them well! It was a beautiful little ceremony at the Wright House and it was so good to see family and catch up.

The Big Day Is...!

The BIG Ultrasound Day to find out what we are having is December 1st!! So if you have not put your vote in on the side poll DO IT NOW!! After seeing the first ultrasound I felt like its a boy but I did have a dream that it was a girl!! So I am really no help in your vote!
And right now we have a bit of a pieced together computer that we are using until we get our tax return to buy a NICE new one!! We have gone through 3 computers in 5 1/2 years of marriage!! I swear they hate us! My computer genius brother took a part off our old computer that allows me to just put in my picture disc from my camera and hooked it up to our loaner computer. Well with two rambunctious boys wanting my attention as soon as I sit down the piece was somehow ripped out of the comp and we have not put it back together yet! So no pics right now, but soon!

Baby's First Pics!

Two weeks ago we went to a special ultrasound office to have the baby checked for down syndrome. We were not worried but felt it wouldn't hurt to have it checked. The baby is well and we were able to get some great pictures and video! The baby was moving like crazy and it was so weird because I could not feel it!! It was only about 2 1/2 inches big! We will probably find out the sex of the baby in 4-6 weeks because my doctor likes the baby to be well done before we take a peek, so there is no question!

Christopher Creek Camping!

Water was just a little chilly!

Just behind our cabin!

The coolest boys fort!

The boys favorite thing!

A few weekends ago our little family headed up north to do a little camping. It was the first time we were going on a camping trip with just our little clan! We decided on Christopher Creek because both Matt and I grew up going camping there and we wanted to share that with our boys! I was so excited because I have not been to Christopher Creek in ages! As soon as we pulled onto the turn off that leads down to the creek we rolled down the windows and just the smell of the creek and the pine trees sent me back! I was so excited! There was only one other family that was camping out and it was a pretty big family. Once we heard there loud music playing we were disappointed because you are suppose to enjoy the great outdoors and the sounds of nature! Not blare your annoying music to annoy others! Anyhoo we decided to head over to the lodge and see if they had any cabins available, and they did!! I am all for putting up a tent, snuggling up in a sleeping bag, and taking a nap to the sound of the wind in the pines, but with a pregnant bladder and a 2 year old still getting the hang of going number 2 in the potty a cabin was sounding GREAT! It was a cute little cabin with a loft area that had 4 twin beds and down stairs there was a king size bed!! I was excited for that!! Except to get to the loft it was a pretty steep climb and I could just see one of the boys falling down it during the night! So we had a family snuggle fest up in the loft! Then as soon as you opened the back door the creek was right there so of coarse we did some exploring and had to stick the feet in! It was COLD! But the boys loved it! In the cabin area they had a little play area for kids with a cool fort house, a teeter totter, cars to ride in, and swings. The boys loved everything and it was so nice and cool outside! It was so fun! We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows in the little fire place and enjoyed the cool air and the sound of the creek with our windows open!

Schnepf's Farmin Fun

The only goat they would go in the gate to see.

Not so nice Billy Goat!

Mason was brave enough to pet the sheep. That is as close as Porter got!

But Porter was brave enough to go on the roller coaster twice!

Flyin High!

For a week straight Porter kept BEGGING us to go to the farm!! Since it is right by my parents house we would pass it all the time and he would ask, "Is the farm open today?" Well finally we found a day that worked for all of us and went and had some fun on the farm!! We had to start out with the train ride! I did not realize how much land the Schnepf's have! It was a pretty neat little ride. Then it was off to the fun rides! We were surprised at how many rides there were for the kids to go on. Plus we got to enjoy Billy Bob's pig races!! That was fun! Mason and I had to sit out on the roller coaster ride due to shortness and prego-ness!! Porter had so much fun on it! I thought he would be scared but since the line was short they got to go around a second time! Matt said he did awesome! The little petting barn was fun. There were mostly goats but there was this billy goat that kept trying to get to the boys through the fence! He scared me!! The boys loved the baby goat and when I squatted down to take a picture it tried to eat my purse! We ended with a carousel ride, lunch, and a good needed nap!! It was a good fun family filled day!

Laundry, Laundry, and Sweet Blessings!!

So this picture explains it ALL!! I have been soooo behind on laundry for the past 12 weeks!! I had a good day on Saturday and actually accomplished MOST of my laundry!! As I was loading, unloading, folding and hanging I started to think of my sisters and sisters in law who have more kids than I do and how in the world do they stay on top of laundry!?! Which brings me to a huge THANK YOU that I have for my sister in law Cheri and her amazing and beautiful girls! I have been having such awful migraines lately and on most days just making it to the couch in the mornings is good enough for me. So the boys pretty much have had full reign of the house! As long as they are playing, happy, and fed,I'm good! These past two weekends were pretty bad. Last Saturday our nephew Dallin was getting baptized and after I was meeting up with my mom for the Women's Broadcast. I knew my brother and sister in law where going to come by after the baptism and pick up an extra bed that we had, and they had not seen our house yet. I forewarned them that the Porter/Mason tornado had touched down in our home and we had yet to clean it up!! I was beyond embarrassed that anyone was going to see my house in that condition!! I told Matt to pick up whatever he could before they walked in. After the broadcast I called Matt to see if he was able to pick up a little and he said "Ya, I think you will like what I did!" As I walk into my home there are vacuum lines in my carpet, not a dirty dish in the sink, and ALL of the boys toys, that were EVERYWHERE, were put away!! I knew Matt did not do all of this and there sits my sweet sister in law trying to look innocent and saying Matt did such a good job!! But her sweet little 5 year old Reagan leaked out the truth!! From the mouth of babes! Thank You Cheri, Aubree, Kirsten, Rylee, and Reagan! My very own cleaning angels in disguise! I can not thank you enough! I love you ALL!
